After spending over a week in Mindo, I am beginning to feel very at home here. We have now discovered our favorite batido shop (it´s kind of like a milkshake) and go there every day. On Saturday walked went to the waterfalls about 5 miles from Mindo. They were very gorgeous and fun. The is a water slide made out of concrete that ends in a 12 foot drop into the river above the waterfall. It was very fun but also very cold water. The daycare with the Amiguitos has been going great. They love playing Duck, Duck, Goose and it is hilarious to watch. Last Wednesday we got to celebrate with the whole nation as Liga an Ecuadorian club team beat won in the first of two games in the South American championship for club teams. We also have enjoyed inner-tubing down the river, which is constant rapids. We have also been enjoying playing soccer with the local kids who have a week break off from school.

Hey Luke. Its really cool that u get to go there. Everyone misses u at Edge. What language do they speak there? Well have fun and we all cant wait to see u again.
They just speak spanish there. Thanks Ashley, I am excited to get back in time for some summer edge. Ted, nothing would delight me more than to have you sit down to our table and enjoy a frosty batido and a fried guinea pig! Come any time, however I´m not sure we would be able to recreate it.
